Instructor/Coordinator - Criminal Justice/Paralegal Studies Duties: The coordinator of the Criminal Justice/Paralegal programs administers academic programs within the College ensuring the successful operation and continuation of the program. Develop and coordinate new programs (OBR One Year Certificate in Law Enforcement Academy formerly OPOTA program; Criminal Justice Associate of Arts degree programs (Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Academy and Criminal Justice Corrections); OBR One Year Certificate in Paralegal Studies; and Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies. Responsibilities include scheduling classes; setting goals and objectives; budgeting; faculty staffing and supervision; and seeking and maintaining accreditation for Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies (American Bar Association accreditation). Prepare and deliver high quality day, evening, weekend, satellite, and/or online courses. Traditional and online course development and facilitation; academic advising; research and development of potential certificate and program offerings; participation on division and college committees; professional development opportunities; marketing of programs; articulation with other colleges; and other duties as assigned by the department.
